The
Uniqueness of Authentic Thai Massage

Students
learn the unique meditative style and mindfulness practice of
traditional Thai Massage in all classes. Thai Massage combines a wide
range of therapeutic techniques: deep muscle compression, pressure
points along energy lines, and yoga-like stretches, to work as deeply
or gently as clients need. Students learn authentic Thai Massage on a
mat on the floor, enabling them to work from their center, maximize
their body weight, and use leverage with feet, knees, forearms, hands
and thumbs for optimal, sustainable body mechanics. Students also
learn the powerful versatility of working in four positions: Supine,
both Sides, Prone, and Sitting, to access specific areas from
different angles. Students learn a natural, flowing sequence which
can be then be adapted intuitively to meet clients’ needs.
